Will there be many advisers left in a year's time?

Here's a good question for advisers out there. What will the mortgage advice sector look in a year's time? If you read this story there are many, many advisers who have not started the process to be fully licensed by early next year.
According to the FMA the timeline to get licensed is closing rapidly. Are we about to see a big exodus?
