Taking technology to the Sky
New Zealand’s financial planning community will have the opportunity to view the latest technology on offer next year at the Financial Planning Solutions Summit.
Monday, September 27th 1999, 12:00AM
The summit, which includes a high level conference and a trade exhibition, will be held at the Sky City Hotel in Auckland on March 29-30.
The event is being organised by AiC Conferences in conjunction with Good Returns.
AiC event organisor Symon Rubens expects next year’s event to provide a focus for the planning community as it heads into the new millennium:
"The technological advancements on offer to financial planners is incredible, and are completely changing the way they do business," he says.
"We want to provide a forum for planners and suppliers to interact – a convenient ‘one stop shop’ that takes the hassle out of test driving what is on offer."
Good Returns editor Philip Macalister says the summit is an exciting and welcome development for the financial planning community in New Zealand.
Good Returns is dedicated to providing the New Zealand market with information and services it can use, and it is keen to help promote the use of technology.
Rubens says the first summit, which was held in Melbourne earlier this year, was a huge success.
"The feedback from the event this year was fantastic, with both exhibitors and delegates urging us to take the event on the road, particularly to New Zealand."
Next year's summit will also be held in Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.
