Morningstar adds two more

Morningstar has appointed several new staff to its Auckland-based team. The appointments bring Morningstar's New Zealand staff complement to seven, supported by over 60 staff in Sydney and Brisbane, Australia.Sujanto Wongso has been appointed senior research analyst, replacing Glenn Hanna. Wongso will be responsible for operational research delivery and development. This will involve operational responsibility for Morningstar's data and ratings, including Morningstar Star Ratings. He will work closely with Amanda Livingstone, manager research - NZ.
Wongso was previously a senior equities analyst with Bahana Securities, an Indonesian-based provider of corporate finance and advisory services, funds management and stockbroking to both Indonesian and international institutions. He has also worked in senior equities research and analysis roles with several other Indonesian stockbroking firms.
Douglas Lau has been appointed as research analyst.
A recent double degree graduate with honours in commerce and science with majors in pure mathematics, statistics, finance and economics from the University of Auckland, Lau has worked part-time at Morningstar as assistant research analyst for the past two years while studying.
Lau will be an integral part of the research team, assisting with all areas of Morningstar's New Zealand data and ratings.
