Harris will be responsible for maintaining and building relationships with a number of financial advisers in the North Island.
"His appointment is a further example of BT’s commitment to providing a high level of service to the financial advisory industry in New Zealand," national manager retail business development Matthew Mimms says.
Harris has a strong background in financial markets. He joined BT in February of 1996 and has held a number of senior positions, including manager of the client services team and head of the Private Investment Division in New Zealand. He is a Business graduate from Massey University and is near to completing his Diploma in Financial Markets though the Securities Institute of Australia.
