Michael Coote, the much-travelled national investment director for Money Managers, is stepping down from the job.He has spent the last six years regularly criss-crossing the country presenting as many as three investment seminars a day for Money Managers.
"After living out of a suitcase and presenting more than 2,500 seminars it's time to move on," he says.
"Michael has been instrumental in building a high profile for Money Managers and is one of the most well-respected investment commentators in New Zealand," Money Managers managing director Doug Somers-Edgar says. "An acknowledgement of the high regard Michael is held in would be the number of people who return to his seminars when he's back in their town. The combination of our industry-leading products and services with Michael's highly-regarded investment knowledge and presentation skills have proved to be a great combination."
Coote leaves Money Managers in mid-June. Advertising has already commenced for his replacement. Some seminars planned for late June may have to be postponed.
