FMG has new marketing manager

Farmers' Mutual Group has appointed David Clapperton as its new group manager - marketing and product. Clapperton also becomes a member of the group's senior management team.
Clapperton has extensive marketing and strategic planning experience following senior management positions in the dairy, local government and banking sectors in New Zealand.
He joins Farmers' Mutual from the Ruapehu District Council where he has been the governance support manager responsible for finance, strategic planning, and information services. In his new role at Farmers' Mutual, Clapperton is responsible for the Group's strategic marketing direction, including the development and promotion of insurance and financial service products to New Zealand's rural sector.
