Head of AXA’s independent adviser channel, Kevin McLean, says with that increasing consumer demand for independent financial and investment advice, Appleby's appointment is a key part of AXA’s business strategy to work in close partnership with independent advisers.
Appleby has a background as a successful small business owner. Having entered financial services in 1987, he worked in a private client advisory capacity in the US specialising in corporate superannuation, before moving to the retail banking sector in the investment advisory area.
