Melville Jessup Weaver principal John Melville has stepped in to fill the role of Government Actuary, following the resignation of Geoff Rashbrooke.
"Procedures have been put in place to protect clients from potential conflicts of interest arising from my position as Government Actuary and my role as principal of Melville Jessup Weaver," he says.
It is anticipated that the Ministry of Economic Development will advertise for a new Government Actuary early next year.
