One
of the two new joint managers of Morningstar downunder is Tao
Huang. He is the chief operating officer for Morningstar Inc in
the US. There he is responsible for corporate strategy, corporate
finance and directing the day-today operations of the company.
He has been with the company since 1990 and has led many new technology and product development efforts.
Huang is part of the executive committee and in 1998 became president of the International division.
The
other joint managing director is Bevin Desmond. Desmond is the
president of Morningstar's international business unit. She is
responsible for identifying and developing new markets, managing
and directing new operations, and developing and launching new
products.
Morningstar has 14 partners in four continents.
Desmond joined Morningstar in 1993 in the human resources department.
