Mercer rings the changes
Tuesday, July 30th 2002, 1:52AM
Peter Verhaart has been named head of investment consulting at Mercers. He will continue to report to Louis Boulanger, who remains practice leader of Mercer Investment Consulting and an executive director of Mercer New Zealand, but will assume responsibility for the day to day operation of Mercer Investment Consulting.Verhaart is a principal of Mercer, located in Wellington. He joined the firm in 1998 and has 14 years experience in the industry.
The changes reduce the number of direct reports to Boulanger and allows him to focus on his primary area of expertise in consulting, technical leadership and business development.
Mercer has also decided to pursue an increased focus on implemented investment solutions, in particular for small superannuation funds.
