Monday, September 2nd 2002, 6:16AM
James Turnbull has resigned from Macquarie to pursue a business opportunity in Europe.Turnbull has been responsible for the promotion of Macquarie's product range to independent intermediaries. Until now this has consisted largely of the Gilt Edge Access Account and the Titan Trust, both of which have been well received by advisers.
With Macquarie's expanding presence in New Zealand it is anticipated that the flow of new products from Macquarie will increase.
A replacement for Turnbull is expected to be made shortly.
Turnbull leaves Macquarie on September 6. Joanne Bailey remains in her role as business development manager and will be the primary point of contact for advisers until a new appointment is made.
