New Morningstar boss

Morningstar have announced the appointment of Scott Cooley as chief operating officer for the Australian business, effective January 2003. Cooley will lead Morningstar’s Research team.Cooley has played a key role in developing and enhancing key Morningstar products in the United States, including serving as editor of Morningstar Mutual Funds, the company’s flagship print publication. Over the past seven years at Morningstar, Cooley has held a variety of editorial leadership roles. He has been the lead analyst covering several of the industry’s largest mutual funds, including those of Fidelity and Vanguard. Cooley has an undergraduate degree in economics and a master’s degree in history.
Cooley will be relocating from Chicago to Sydney with his wife and three children.
