Russell adds to team

Russell Investment Group Ltd has appointed David Iverson as a consultant with its Institutional Investment Services (IIS) division.Formerly based in Sydney as regional risk manager for ING Investment Management Asia Pacific (IIMAP), Iverson has joined Russell’s Auckland office to provide a wide range of advisory services to clients in New Zealand. These clients include Crown financial institutions, superannuation funds, local councils and charitable trusts.
Iverson’s experience includes developing and implementing ING IIMAP’s risk management framework in several Asia-Pacific countries and chairing a range of local, regional and global risk management committees.
Prior to joining ING, he was a quantitative and equity strategist with ABN Amro NZ Ltd and BZW NZ Ltd.
Iverson holds a first class MCom (Hons) in finance and a BCom-LLB conjoint degree, both from the University of Auckland, where he was the recipient of several awards and scholarships.
