Gribben to head up AMP alternative asset business
Tuesday, January 20th 2004, 5:47PM
AMP Capital says it has a competitive advantage in the area of private capital investments and there are opportunities for considerable growth through expanding this business to include a broader range of alternative asset investments, such as infrastructure developments.
Gribben will start his new role in mid-April, and will report to AMP Capital managing director Catherine Savage (who replaced him when he moved to the UK).
His team will be responsible for the strategic direction of alternative asset investments, capital raising and the management of alternative asset products and funds.
Gribben spent three years in the UK where he was director of business-to-business for Henderson Global Investors.
