Perry switches platforms

Friday, January 30th 2004, 12:21PM
First NZ Capital has appointed Ian Perry as head of intermediary services with specific responsibilities for the AssetWatch investment administration platform.

Perry has 11 years experience in the New Zealand financial services industry. Starting with Sovereign Assurance in market research he moved to operations management and latterly as Adviser Services Manager with Aegis Limited as part of the newly formed ASB Group Investments.

For the past five years he has been involved with the successful launch and development of the Aegis platform where he was responsible for the delivery of adviser services in the areas of new business, adviser relationships, client services and system development.

His specialist knowledge and experience will allow him to look strategically at First NZ Capital’s AssetWatch business. One of his strengths is his ability to identify a business solution and manage its implementation in the financial adviser’s business.

He has a science degree from Kings College, London and a PhD from Bristol University.
