New appointments to BT NZ Equities Team

Westpac has made two new appointments to BT’s NZ Equities Management team.Slade Robertson has been appointed as head of NZ equities research and Anthony Halls has been appointed to the position of NZ equities analyst. Their appointments follow Mark Smith’s appointment last month as the new CEO of BT Funds Management in New Zealand.
Robertson joins BT from Macquarie where he was head of investment management. He has worked in investment and portfolio management for 12 years both in New Zealand and Australia with Challenger International, BNP Paribas, JB Were Portfolio Management and Southpac.
Halls is currently completing his MBA and moves from his current part-time analytical support role at BT to this full-time position. Halls has previously worked with BT in the position of cash portfolio manager. He has substantial bank treasury and investment portfolio experience. Halls has more recently worked with Robertson as an equities analyst with Challenger International.
