Sovereign has announced two senior appointments to newly created roles. Adam Heath joins as general manager risk products, while Scott Black has been appointed as general manager distributed products.
Heath oversees the marketing strategy and product management process associated with the risk product set at Sovereign. This includes managing the marketing mix for risk products.
Prior to joining Sovereign Heath was chief manager retail strategy at ASB Bank, where he held various roles over a nine-year period. Recently, Heath headed a project that leveraged the Bank’s investment in its data warehouse and CRM capabilities to identify and distribute key sales and service opportunities via the Bank’s various retail distribution channels.
Black has responsibility for developing the strategy and creating the marketing around home loans and investments. This includes: liaising with product manufacturers; the provision of sales tools; training and educating advisers; and managing advertising, promotional materials and campaigns.
Black has worked at Sovereign and its predecessors for the last 20 years in a variety of senior sales and marketing roles.
