AMP's new equities manager

AMP Capital Investors has appointed Guy Elliffe as a senior portfolio manager/analyst within its New Zealand equity team.
Elliffe managed National Mutual’s New Zealand equities for most of the 1980s. Since 1990 he has managed US equity portfolios in California and held senior investment roles, including managing director – equities for National Mutual Funds Management (North America) and senior investment officer and director of research for Jurika & Voyles. Jurika & Voyles is an East Bay-San Francisco subsidiary of CDC Ixis Asset Management, one of the top 25 asset managers in the world by assets under management.
He is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charterholder, has an Honours degree in Mathematics from the University of Otago, and has completed the requirements for the Certificate of Finance and Investment from the Institute of Actuaries (London).
AMP Capital Investors chief investment officer Tore Hayward says Elliffe’s depth of experience and expertise would be a great asset for the company and its clients.
