AXA rearranges senior management team

AXA has rearranged its senior management team following the departure of its general manager of sales, Mike Budd, and the recent resignation of Liz Dawson.
The former national sales director in the broker channel, Jon Lloyd, has been appointed general manager distribution. Lloyd has held various sales and marketing roles with Cigna Life Insurance, including being head of alliances and third party relationships. Prior to joining AXA, he was general manager of Lumley Life.
Ruth Colenso, who is currently general manager of wealth management, has been appointed general manager marketing and products. She has been with AXA since August 2004 and has had more than 10 years experience in financial services.
That extensive experience includes having held a number of senior marketing and general management positions in New Zealand and the UK. She was head of business development and strategy, retail financial services for Bank of New Zealand and has held strategic and line management roles in marketing in the banking industry in Ireland.
With bringing together all AXA products under Colenso's leadership, David Hair, product manager - Investments will join Colenso's team.
AXA will advertise for a new general manager of its wealth management business.
