Thursday, July 21st 2005, 6:11PM
Arcus Investment Management chief operating officer Matthew Walker has resigned.
Walker is keen to spend greater time with his family in the Waikato and is pursuing alternative career options in that part of the country. He has been with Arcus since 2001 and in the industry since 1988.
“Matthew has helped the organisation through a tough period for markets, an important phase of organisational change and a time of intensive client servicing demands.” chief investment officer Mark Brighouse says.
Arcus manages balanced and diversified sector funds for key wealth management firms in New Zealand, including Spicers, New Zealand Financial Planning and AXA.
Brighouse will assume overall operating responsibilities for Arcus and will continue to be supported by a team that includes Rozanna Wozniak, chief economist, and Matthew Goldsack, research manager.
The firm is now seeking to add to its analytical capacity and is actively recruiting individuals with portfolio analysis skills and/or product development experience.
