Lewington to head up MGIs' NZ business

Mercer Global Investments has appointed Martin Lewington to head up its New Zealand business.Lewington will focus on developing new business opportunities in the domestic market as well as service MGI’s existing NZ client base, drawing on over 20 years of industry experience.
Lewington's previous roles include ten years as a director at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Wellington, which included roles in wealth management and corporate finance services. Prior to this, he was senior consultant then senior manager at Ernst & Young, both in Wellington and London.
He will be supported by the Australian-based MGI team, who will provide investment, back office and reporting services.
MGI has offices in USA, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Canada and Japan. In Australia and NZ, MGI manages over $NZ11 billion in multi-manager portfolios.
