Travaglia joins MFS

Travaglia joins MFS Pacific after having being involved in with a start up subsidiary of Southern Cross where he was the Head of Distribution Relationships.
Prior to this he held various positions with AMP Financial Services including that of National Manager Retail Investments and also has experience in commercial banking with The National Bank of NZ.
He holds qualifications in business and management and has worked in the financial services industry for 20 years.
The appointment is in line with a strategy to grow MFS Pacific to become a substantial player in the New Zealand financial services sector. MFS has recently announced the taking on board of business partners with similar joint venture interests in New Zealand to strengthen the capital base and resources with which to expand into New Zealand as part of this strategy.
MFS Pacific chief executive Nigel Lane said the sales and investment experience Travaglia brought to the MFS Pacific group would benefit advisory groups and help achieve the growth the A$1b market capitalised MFS Ltd is seeking in New Zealand.
