Trustees Executors appoints Jim Bolger Chairman of the BoardFormer Prime Minister Jim Bolger is to chair the board of Trustees Executors, New Zealand’s oldest trustee company.
Current chairman, John Grace, will step down from the role, but remain on the board.
"It is most appropriate that Bolger is being appointed chairman in this, the 125th year since the establishment of Trustees Executors as New Zealand’s oldest statutory trustee company,” said Grace.
Bolger has been a board member for about a year and in that time has gained an excellent insight into the functioning of the business. Assuming the chairmanship of Trustees Executors, a company that has served New Zealanders for 125 years is a natural progression for Bolger, Grace says.
In chairing Trustees Executors, Bolger’s broad experience with business, government, and all aspects of life in New Zealand will ensure that he plays an important and active role in shaping and directing the company’s strategies and operations into the future for the benefit of current and future clients.
