Jenny Shipley joins Sentinel

Former Prime Minister Jenny Shipley has been appointed to chair the board of Seniors Money International Limited, Sentinel’s new international holding company.Sentinel is a New Zealand-founded home equity release specialist, established three years ago by a group of experienced New Zealand-based business people, including Sovereign founders Chris Coon and Ian Hendry.
Sentinel is planning to continue this expansion with launches into two more countries this year and has established Seniors Money International Limited, to oversee its expanding international operations.
Since leaving politics, Shipley travels extensively in multiple roles as a director, adviser, consultant and keynote speaker with special interest in Asian economies.
Her commercial directorships include Richina Pacific, Mainzeal Construction and Momentum (HR company). She is on the international economic advisory Board of the City of Rotterdam and chairs the advisory board of her son, Ben’s Shanghai based branding and marketing company.
