Monday, May 7th 2007, 12:28AM
The position has been created due to significant company growth. Paull will identify key national opportunities for intermediaries and manage Vestar’s relationships within the finance and business community, with a strong focus on supporting and adding value to partnerships.
Vestar’s CEO Simon Purvis says the need for a manager dedicated to relationships with intermediaries and business grew out of major developments and growth at Vestar.
“Amanda is the ideal fit in this role, because she understands the nuances of the financial world and is also expert at the networking and community side of business – building and maintaining relationships, and finding innovative opportunities for the people Vestar works with.”
Paull was previously executive manager at Dress for Success Auckland, where she drove the sponsorship, fundraising and brand-management programmes, while developing key relationships with business. Her diverse background includes the directorship of her own business training and development company, a role as assistant director of Business Marketing International, and the management of the promotions, marketing and volunteer division of Hibiscus Coast Hospice. She has extensive experience in the financial sector, having held branch management positions at Trustbank and WestpacTrust following roles at ANZ and National Bank.
