Vestar appoints new Marketing Manager

Business marketing and communications specialist Joanne Bailey has been appointed marketing manager of Vestar Investment Specialists.Bailey, who joins Vestar from her role as Marketing Manager for the South Island firm Swain Investment Specialists, was already familiar with her new employer – Swains will be re-branding as Vestar. Both companies have been acquired by the investment and financial services group MFS New Zealand.
Bailey’s extensive experience in marketing and finance includes a period in the UK and Ireland, where she held client communications and project management roles at Citibank Global Asset Management and Chase Manhattan Bank.
Bailey further honed her skills over several years in New Zealand’s banking sector, as Macquarie Bank’s business development manager, and then as marketing communications manager for Westpac. She joined Swains in March 2005.
