Tyndall appoints new md

Monday, May 28th 2007, 11:03AM
Greg Campbell has been appointed managing director of Tyndall Investment Management New Zealand, based in Auckland. He will start with Tyndall on 1 August.

Announcing the appointment, Brett Himbury, managing director of Tyndall Australia and New Zealand, said that Campbell’s excellent track record and wide-ranging financial services experience made him the ideal choice for the role.

“Greg has the ability to manage a diverse and complex business, and his leadership skills and expertise will help drive Tyndall – which is already performing extremely strongly – into the next phase of its growth.

“His appointment is particularly timely in light of the recent legislative changes in New Zealand and Tyndall is now well-placed to take advantage of this,” Himbury said.

Campbell has over 22 years experience in financial services, in New Zealand, South Africa, and the UK.

His most recent position was General Manager – Products and Marketing at ANZ Bank, and he has also worked with Public Trust, AXA New Zealand, and Bank of New Zealand, where he held a number of senior roles including General Manager – Premium Financial Services and Head of Business Markets.
