Planner takes on Life Settlements Fund role

The Life Settlements Wholesale Fund (LSWF) has appointed financial planner Lyn Buckley as its New Zealand-based business development manager.For the past 18 months the fund has been promoted to only a limited selection of advisers in New Zealand. Now after very strong results for that group LSWF are extending the distribution to include other investment advisers and consultants.
LSWF want to ensure that the financial planners and institutions there have a New Zealand contact. Buckley will service their needs and provide them with access to a local resource who can assist them with their enquiries.
Buckley has been in financial services for more than 20 years and is well known throughout the industry in New Zealand. She is a Certified Financial Planner and her most recent role was as a trainer with AdviserLink.
While she has aggressively targeted some new institutions in recent weeks, Buckley's focus remains on servicing advisers who have supported the fund and she will organise visits, seminars and a regular flow of information to that network.
