The Institute of Financial Advisers has appointed David Gordon to fill a current vacancy on its board.Gordon, who is based in Wellington, has been involved with the IFA, or its predecessors, since 1990. He holds the CFP designation, is a current committee member of the Wellington branch of IFA, and has been the branch representative at IFA Council meetings.
He started his financial services career as a life insurance agent, then manager, before taking on a financial planning role with an international accountancy firm. He joined Public Trust in 1998 and his current role is that of investment advice manager.
He has well rounded experience in our industry and I am sure he will contribute well on the Board.
