First NZ takes on two as retail funds expand

First NZ Capital Investment Management has made two senior appointments as it boosts its retail presence and enters the KiwiSaver space.Jody Kaye, most recently with Arcus Investment Management, has joined First NZ Capital as chief operating officer for its managed fund business.Kaye will be responsible for providing a retail front to the business and helping grow the profile and funds under management of First NZ Capital Investment Management.
As well, Bill MacKenzie, has been appointed as portfolio manager. MacKenzie, who in his 15-year career has had stints with Ord Minnet, ABN Amro and ING, will work alongside Malcolm Davie, First NZ portfolio manager, in the selection of Australasian equities and portfolio management.
