Milford Asset expands it staff base

Milford Asset Management has appointed two new staff members over the past two months confirming their commitment to strong investment performance and excellent customer service.Jonathan Windust has recently joined Milford in the newly created role of investment analyst. After working for BT Funds Management in 2000/01 (and Frank Russell before that) Windust moved to the UK and worked at Gartmore Investment Management from June 2001 before returning to NZ late last year. His roles at Gartmore included being part of the team managing the NatWest Bank Pension Fund which had assets of 10 billion GBP. Windust will be focused mainly on company analysis but will also be involved in some asset allocation work and currency management as well.
The other staff appointment is Bab Kamath, who has joined as a Funds Administrator. This role covers a wide range of tasks including dealing with a range of external custodians and other external parties as part of Milford's investment of client funds. Kamath joined in late January after being at NZ Funds Management in a similar role for over four years.
