PIS recruits two more to its NZ team

Professional Investment Services has appointed two new senior staff members. Colleen Dennehy, has been appointed Business Development Manager for the Northern Region.

Dennehy’s role will be to strengthen existing relationships with accountants and advisers, along with identifying and developing new relationships.

Dennehy has 19 years experience in financial services, mortgages and insurances industries. She has previously worked for Bank of New Zealand, AMP, New Zealand Home Loan, Automobile Association and Plan New Zealand. More recently she was the General Manager of a mortgage broking company and in 2006 was NZMBA mortgage broker of the year in the specialist lending category.

PIS NZ has also appointed John Commins as its new Manager - Research and Compliance.

Commins’ role will be to ensure that the PIS New Zealand network has top quality research available across investment and insurance operations and that the quality of advice is maintained through the support of the compliance audit process.

Commins is a Certified Financial Planner with more than 20 years experience in the financial services sector. His background includes roles in general management, investment, adviser compliance and risk management.
