Three new members for BT team
BT Funds Management has expanded its investment team with three new appointments.

Matthew Goldsack (left) has been assigned as BT’s new head of investment strategies.Goldsack will be responsible for the management and monitoring of the Westpac retail portfolios on the wrap service, including the external manager evaluation and selection.
He was previously head of research for Arcus Investment Management and has 13 years’ experience in the investment industry.
The second new addition to the team is Helen Wang (right), as research analyst.
Wang will be working with Goldsack on the management of Westpac retail portfolios.
She was previously with Westpac and has experience analyzing external fund managers, retail investment portfolios and their construction.
And lastly, Matthew Goodson (left) has been appointed senior equity analyst/portfolio manager.He will be working with the equity portfolio manager Paul Harrison and equity analyst David Fyfe as the team responsible for BT’s trans-Tasman equity and Focus Funds, as well as the management of the New Zealand equity exposures for the Westpac balanced funds and KiwiSaver funds.
Goodson has 15 years’ experience in the investment industry and was previously a director, wholesale equities with First NZ Capital. He has previously worked for Goldman Sachs JBWere in New York, and as an economist/strategist.
