“This is a challenging time for everyone working in the financial services sectors. I’m looking forward to working with financial advisers through out New Zealand, and helping them enhance the skills and knowledge they need to be effective and meet the needs of their clients,” she says.
The developments from the Financial Planning Standards Board in the US and new law on financial advising within New Zealand will be incorporated into the diploma.
There are also plans to introduce a major in financial advising in the Bachelor of Business Studies.“It is key that Massey students have the most up-to-date information at their fingertips. This is why they stay ahead of the game when they take up careers in the industry.”
