Brown steps down from ombudsman
There is a new Banking Ombudsman taking over the reigns.

Deborah Battell, previously director of competition for the Commerce Commission, has picked up the reins of Banking Ombudsman from Liz Brown.
Brown, who held the role of Banking Ombudsman for 14 years, completed her last day in the position on July 31. She was described as widely recognised for her fairness and integrity.
Battell brings experience not only from the Commerce Commission, but from previous roles at KPMG, Radio New Zealand and also at the former Broadcasting Corporation to her new position.
