Two new shareholders have joined Laetitia Peterson and Janine Starks as co-owners of Liontamer Investments.
Mike Perry, head of structuring and finance, and Sean Butler, head of marketing, have became significant shareholders in the company.
Both joined Liontamer in early 2007 and are members of the senior management team.
This month Perry and Butler stepped up another level and managing director and founder of Liontamer, Peterson, said, "The management buy-back from KBC earlier this year presented a great opportunity for the Liontamer business. Firstly, it allowed the team to concentrate on our home market in New Zealand and create some innovative new fund structures during a period of immense market volatility. Secondly, it gave us the ability to change our own corporate structure and cement our very strong senior team in place with some common objectives."
Investment director and co-founder, Starks said, "On a practical level, the day-to-day responsibilities within the management team remain the same and both Laetitia and I continue to be absolutely committed to the company; however, we do believe that Mike and Sean's new level of involvement provides stability and continuity and will result in a stronger Liontamer business long term."
