AIA gets new chief
AIA has appointed a new chief executive to replace David Pierce who left last year.

The former managing director of ANZ Retail Wayne Besant has taken over the top role at the life company.
Besant has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services sector. At the ANZ he was responsible for leading and developing the bank's personal and business banking segements.
He also led the bank's growth phase in the development of its mortgage and insurance businesses.
"Wayne's strong leadership qualities, business acumen, as well as local experience and connections will help spearhead our future development in New Zealand," AIA Group chief executive and president Mark Wilson says.
He describes Besant as "an engaging leader and seasoned professional."
Besant starts on March 4.
