Guardian Trust appoints new head of product management

Guardian Trust has appointed Graeme Collier as head of product management and marketing, with responsibility for the financial success, growth and maintenance of the brand.

Wednesday, April 28th 2010, 11:10AM

In addition to joining Guardian Trust's senior management team, Collier will also oversee product management and marketing for the investment products of sister brands within the Suncorp Life NZ group of Tyndall Investment Management and Asteron.

Collier previously occupied the role of product manager for Tyndall, a role he held since 2008.

He replaces Philip Morgan Rees, who has moved into the role of national distribution manager for Guardian Trust.

Collier brings 18 years' experience in financial services organisations in New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

In the UK, Collier served as senior relationship manager with GE Money and head of marketing for an internet bank based in Dublin, among other roles. Before his time overseas, he was a senior marketing manager at Bank of New Zealand.

Guardian Trust managing director Greg Campbell says, "Collier is a financial services manager of immense skill and experience, and his appointment is an extremely positive development for our growth and marketing objectives. I am delighted with his appointment."
