Perpetual nabs BNZ boss
Former BNZ Head of Private Bank Ralf Hohwieler is the latest in a series of senior appointments by Perpetual Group.

Hohwieler joined BNZ in 2003 where since he led their Private Bank to unprecedented growth and profile. More recently, he became involved in developing the Bank's wider strategy around the wealth and private banking context.
Prior to BNZ, he was Director, European Business Development/Corporate Finance with Mizuho Corporate Bank based in London. He previously spent almost 10 years with Royal Bank of Canada Group in London and Frankfurt, working with multinational companies in areas such as structured and syndicated finance. He holds a degree in economics from Freiburg University, Germany.
Hohwieler's initial focus at Perpetual will be on the strategic alignment and development of trust and advisory businesses, as well as strategic alliances.
