Fidelity life appoints CFO
Fidelity Life has appointed Edward Eadie as its chief financial officer and he will start in his new role next Monday.

He has extensive experience in the global accounting and insurance industries and has held a variety of roles in the financial centres of London and Bermuda.
Prior to joining Fidelity Life, Eadie was financial controller for The Aotea Centre Board of Management (trading as "The Edge") in Auckland.
Fidelity Life chief executive Milton Jennings says Eadie will bring international expertise and professional networks to Fidelity Life which will contribute to the development and execution of Fidelity Life's strategy.
"Mr Eadie has a broad in-depth knowledge of our industry and insurance and investment products; he'll make a great addition to the expert team here at Fidelity Life," says Jennings. "He is a person with high energy and I believe he will fit in well."
Eadie grew up in the UK where he attended Eton College and gained a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Durham University. He has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales since 2000. He moved to New Zealand early last year when he took the role with The Edge.
Eadie is a father of four and a keen runner, completing in two marathons. He was actively involved in fundraising for children's charities in Bermuda and was trustee for the Young People's Trust for the Environment in the UK.
