Westpac has new head of wealth management

Mark Fitz-Gerald has been appointed as head of wealth management at Westpac.
Fitz-Gerald was the chief executive for Citibank in New Zealand and has more than 20 years global banking experience in New Zealand, the Middle East and Asia.
Throughout his career, he has held a variety of business management roles including relationship management, product management and country management.
He is currently the President of the American Chamber of Commerce in NZ, a board member for the Bankers Association of NZ, a board member for Fulbright NZ, and an advisory member for the International Financial Services Development Group. He graduated in Law and Commerce from the University of Auckland in 1987 and was admitted to the Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 1988.
