Sovereign appoints new Adviser Distribution general manager

Sovereign has announced the appointment of Patrice de Marigny as general manager, Adviser Distribution.

Wednesday, March 30th 2011, 12:48PM

He replaces Mark Collins who is now CEO at New Zealand Home Loans.

"We are delighted to have Patrice on board," said Sovereign chief distribution officer David Haak.

"His extensive experience in the financial services sector has seen him emerge as a leader with the ability to build and grow high potential divisions and businesses."

"With the advent of regulation, Patrice will lead Adviser Distribution through a period of fundamental change and renewed growth as we respond to the challenges of the external market," he said.

Before moving to Auckland de Marigny spent six years at Standard Bank, Africa's biggest bank.

He takes up his new role with Sovereign on April 4, 2011.
