Martin Jennings took up this newly-created position at the end of last month.
He will be responsible for strategic planning, product development and implementation, service delivery, and infrastructure management for the region.
Over the last 12 months FNZ has increased its headcount by nearly 50% worldwide and has opened a new development centre in Brno, Czech Republic.
Jennings began his new role at the end of May and has relocated from London to FNZ's Sydney office. He reports directly to Adrian Durham, group CEO.
Before joining FNZ, Jennings held the position of managing director for AXA's Elevate platform, which uses FNZ.
"Martin knows the FNZ platform and our industry inside out, but more importantly he knows FNZ's culture and approach to delivering outstanding client service - having experienced this first hand," chief executive Adrian Durham says.
