Debbie Egerton has been appointed to the role of Brand Manager, and Jo-zanne Owen to the position of Marketing Executive.
Egerton joins AIA from a role as Senior Product Manager for Heinz Watties, and previously worked with other major global brands including Beam Global and Fujifilm. In her new position she will collaborate with others in the AIA New Zealand team to grow the insurer's brand in New Zealand.
"With her background in FMCG Debbie brings a fresh perspective to the marketing team at AIA," says Darrin Franks, AIA's Head of Distribution and Marketing.
Jo-zanne Owen has a Bachelor of Communication from Massey University, and is a Massey University Dean's List recipient and Massey Scholar.
The latest appointments follow several new appointments in the first quarter of 2011, including the establishment of the new role of General Manager Retail Distribution, in response to substantial business growth over the past six months.
