OnePath Life gets new GM

Mike Weiss has been appointed to the role of General Manager OnePath Life, based in the Glenfield office.
He is an experienced insurance executive with over 20 years in the industry, building a strong focus on improving results and creating high performing organisations.
Weiss is well placed to lead OnePath Life into the next decade and is directly responsible for the product manufacture and service delivery to advisers. His colleague Jeremy Nicoll, is responsible for the distribution relationships.
He came to New Zealand in 1999 and spent 11 years as Head of Institutional business at Sovereign where he focussed on the distribution of life insurance under white label through Sovereign's strategic partners. He joined OnePath in August 2010 and was Head of Strategy.
