Perpetual adds a new adviser

Steve Baker has joined Perpetual as an adviser in its Christchurch team. He has been in the financial services industry since 1991 and moved to New Zealand from the UK in 2006. Over there he worked for major pension and investment companies in the areas of business development, management and as a client adviser.
Since his arrival in New Zealand, Baker has worked as an adviser and in addition to his investment knowledge, he has a wide understanding of the technical aspects of UK pension transfers due to his UK experience and ongoing study and work in the area."
Baker is an AFA and has recently completed the National Certificate in Financial Services and also holds the UK's Financial Planning Certificate plus Tax, Trusts, Investment and Retirement Option papers of the UK Advanced Financial Planning Certificate. He is also a member of the Institute of Financial Advisers (IFA) and the Professional Advisers Association (PAA) in New Zealand.
