Cameron Marcroft has been appointed as a replacement for Peter Wilkening who was recently promoted to National Key Account Manager.
Since graduating from the University of Waikato in 1998 Marcroft has forged a career in financial services within New Zealand and the UK. He spent the last five years as North Island Regional Sales Manager for Allied Kiwi in Auckland.>
Mike Sweeney has been appointed in a newly created role where he will be responsible for the Northland region as well as seeking to develop adviser business with potential in the Auckland region where he will be based.
Sweeney joins Tower following a career as a Relationship Manager Intermediaries with the ACC, a position that brought him into working contact with many of the advisers on his panel.
"The backgrounds of these two new team members are ideal for us," said National Sales Manager Steve Gregory.
"They join us with a solid understanding of the risk market, but also add to the skill level within our Distribution area. Cameron has an inherent understanding of the mortgage broking market which is becoming of increasing interest as these professionals seek to diversify income streams through insurance products, while Mike's understanding of ACC will also be of huge benefit for our staff and advisers alike."
Tower Head of Distribution – Intermediated Mark Nalder said, "Cameron and Mike are important additions to our sales team and further strengthen the wider Auckland BDM team which is experiencing strong growth at present. I am very confident that they will prove a great success in what is a vital and vibrant market for Tower."
