Paul Butler has joined the Mortgage Link Wanganui office, providing experienced support and new opportunities for business owner Dorothy Burns.
Butler joins after some time overseas and a 12-year spell as branch manager at PSIS Wanganui.
Chris Allum has been a Mortgage Link adviser for some time, providing a range of financial advisory services for Levin-based chartered accountants Colbert Cooper. He had previously operated alongside the Mortgage Link Kapiti business but the partners of Colbert Cooper have revisited their strategies and were keen to take on their own license.
Allum has already confirmed they are developing strategies to build on the considerable Colbert Cooper networks and client base as well as reestablishing contacts within the Horowhenua market.
Mortgage Link chief executive Rod Templeton said he was pleased to welcome Butler and Allum to the Mortgage Link family.
"While it continues to be a demanding environment, with the ongoing influences of world financial markets, local property markets, the distractions of the Rugby World Cup - albeit very positive - Mortgage Link continues to promote its advice-based relationships with its clients, looking to provide them with value," he said.
