OnePath general manager adviser distribution Jeremy Nicoll says the changes will help deliver on the company's strategy of building a sustainable business model and ensuring that it meets advisers' needs.
"The simplified structure will maintain the best level of sales support and also complement our adviser development services across both our insurance and investments businesses," he says.
The Head of Sales role for Life has been disestablished, and as a result Malcolm Aston has left the business. Aston joined OnePath from Sovereign 18 months ago during the re-brand process.
The Northern Area Sales Manager (currently vacant), the Southern Area Sales Manager, Kim Fitzgerald, the Key Group Relationship Manager, Christine Laverty, and Sales Support Manager, Kim-Anaka Baillie, will now report directly to Nicoll.
"We are also recruiting for a person to fill the new role of Head of Adviser Support Services – this role will be responsible for adviser development and the delivery of structured training."
Nicoll says with a more streamlined and efficient team, he is confident OnePath can deliver on its promise of being a reliable partner to advisers and provide them with the best level of support and services in the industry.
