Brook Asset Management makes new hires
Brook Asset Management has added to its team with two new appointments, bringing in additional research expertise and creating a new business development role to further its focus on clients.

Katrina Kruger (pictured left) joins Brook as the head of business development, bringing more than 15 years of experience in financial markets.
Meanwhile Frances Sweetman joins as a research analyst, bringing extensive experience from both the UK and Australia. She will focus on relationship management activities, supporting Brook's clients across New Zealand in accessing its products and services. She will also be responsible for driving new business opportunities, as well as working with managing director, Mark Ryland, to contribute to business strategy.
Kruger's previous experience includes time spent with Westpac, where she was Head of Advice, formerly President of the CFA Society of New Zealand, is a member of the Board of Advisers for Massey University, College of Business Student Investment Fund, and is also a Member of the FAS Board of Regents.
Sweetman will further support Brook's long-standing investment process as part of its research team, working closely with Andrew South and Andrew Mortimer, and taking responsibility for a variety of Australasian sectors. Most recently, Sweetman was with Macquarie Group in Sydney, where she was an analyst focused on listed property trusts for the past three years. She previously worked as a valuer and consultant with CBRE in both London and Sydney.
